Shelly Pendergrass, PA-C
Shelly has been a Prairieville resident for 25 years. She started her journey in healthcare in 2001 when she became a Radiologic Technologist. She holds an Associates Degree In Radiologic Technology and a Bachelors Degree in Radiologic Science. She continued her journey in 2015, graduating with a Master's Degree of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies. She has worked in Emergency Medicine and Urgent Care for the past 10 years. Shelly completed training and became a certified Botox injector in 2023. She currently serves as an Assistant Deputy Coroner for EBR parish. She enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband, Patrick and their 2 sons, Kristopher and Collin. Shelly assumed ownership of The Med Spa of Ascension in 2025 and is excited to provide quality care to the community of Ascension!
Abby McKey
Abby was born and raised in Ascension. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her friends, family, and her dog Millie. Abby also has a passion for makeup, and she provides makeup applications on the side for special occasions. She loves the relationships she has built with her clients and looks forward to building relationships with future clients. "I have always had a passion for Aesthetics and helping people discover confidence within themselves." Abby has been a part of The Med Spa since August of 2021 and she is our lead Laser Technician.
Judy Schexnaydre
Judy was born and raised in Ascension. She still resides here in Ascension with her husband, Neal. She has two grown children, Mason and Emma. Judy enjoys reading and doing puzzles. She loves to spend her time traveling, especially to the beach. Judy started at the Med Spa in July of 2022 and currently serves as our front desk coordinator.
Heidi Williams
Born and raised in Ascension, Heidi is married to her husband, Russell and she is a mom to her one daughter, Maris. Outside of work, Heidi enjoys fishing, camping and spending time with her family, friends and her three dogs. Heidi joined The Med Spa staff as a receptionist in February of 2023.
Dr. Jason Adams and Ivy Walding Adams
Dr. Adams and his daughter-in-law, Ivy are the original founders and owners of The Med Spa at ACWH. Dr. Adams is the owner of Ascension Center for Women's Health (ACWH) and specializes in gynecology and hormone replacement therapy. Dr. Adams remains the Medical Director, while Ivy serves as a consultant and facilitator for The Med Spa of Ascension.
